Diving in Yap is one of the places with the highest concentration of Mobula (giant Manta) on the planet. Impressive reefs very little dived, where the marine life is incredible and you can dive with a great number of sharks. Perfect also to combine with Palau.

Yap is a lush tropical island located only 9 degrees north of the Equator. It belongs to the confederate states of Micronesia like Chuuk or Palau. It is surrounded by a wide shallow lagoon and almost 90 miles of reef. Long before Yap became famous for diving with Mantas, it was known as the Land of Stone Money. The huge stone discs, some more than 3 meters in diameter are still used today in large transactions.
